How do I Make a Brochure About Georgia?
- 1). Choose what information, pictures and writing you want to include in the brochure, keeping in mind your reason and target audience.
- 2). Place the sheet of paper flat on the workspace. Fold the paper into thirds horizontally, making sure that each third is the same size as the others. Place the third on the left on the top of the brochure so that the brochure opens from the left. Use this paper brochure to practice placement of writing, pictures and any other information that will be included in the brochure.
- 3). Open Microsoft Word. From a blank document, select "File" in the top left corner of the Microsoft Word screen. Select the first option in the File drop-down, entitled "New." A box will pop up, titled "New" with a row of tabs at the top, beginning with a tab entitled "General."
- 4). From the "New" dialogue box, select the sixth tab from the left, entitled "Publications." Select the template entitled "Brochure." A template brochure will pop up on the screen.
- 5). Fill in the template brochure by replacing each section according to your rough draft from Step 2.
- 6). Edit information in the brochure until it reaches your liking. Repeat this step as many times as necessary.
- 7). Print the brochure using a home printer or using a print shop, such as FedEx.
