- 1). Line up the pins on the edge of the SD card with the slot in the SD card adapter. Push the SD card into the slot.
- 2). Plug the USB connector of the SD card adapter into a USB port on the computer. Wait a few seconds for the icon of the SD card to appear on the desktop.
- 3). Double-click on the icon of the SD card to open its window. Drag a file, folder or application into the SD card's window. Wait as a copy progress bar appears and fills in from right to left (PC) or left to right (Mac) before disappearing.
- 4). Right-click on the icon of the SD card and select "Eject" from the pop-up menu (PC) or drag the icon to the Trash (Mac). Remove the SD card adapter from the computer's USB port. Remove the SD card from the slot in the SD card adapter.
