- 1). Click "Start" and then "Computer." Right-click "C" and select "Properties."
- 2). Select the "Tools" tab and click "Check now." Select "Continue" if the User Account Control prompt displays.
- 3). Select the "Automatically Fix File System Errors" option and click "Start." Agree to reschedule the check for the next system restart.
- 4). Reboot your system. Allow the check disk to detect and repair all Error 301 issues.
