How to Make a ZIP Folder on a Mac
- 1). Drag and drop files into the folder you want to compress.
- 2). Right-click on the folder once you have all the files you want in it. Right-clicking will open a drop-down menu.
- 3). Click "Compress 'File Name'" in the drop-down menu. Doing so will start the compression process and create a file with a .zip extension in the same location as the original folder. For example, if your folder is on the desktop, the ZIP file will be placed on the desktop, as well.
