Steps to Reduce Hemorrhoids
I like many people, have had hemorrhoids in the past, and I understand your worry! I remember the first time I got them I was so worried! It was so painful to sit down or even walk around! What a nightmare! The first time I got them was in my late 20s.
I was working in the UK and living in a shared house that I had just moved into.
I was sharing with 3 other people and did not know them very well.
I felt very scared that first morning I woke up and felt an uncomfortable sensation in my bottom! As it was my first case of piles, I did not really know that I had them.
I like you have probably done, consulted the internet.
This was back in 2000 and I was still on dialup, and being in a rented house, the internet connection was not set up in each room, so having to sort out all the cables with hemorrhoids was not much fun either! Imagine the scene of my house mates asking my if I was OK and me not knowing what to say to them when I was having trouble even bending over to pick up the cable! So I found out that yes, I had a case of the hemorrhoids and I needed to take a trip to the supermarket to find some cream or something! This was another embarrassing journey that I would prefer to not have to do again! The women on the till was sniggering at me! She must have had experience of them herself as she looked up at my face and saw that I had a non too happy expression and started to giggle to herself! Can you believe it?! The internet also told me to eat more healthily to reduce the swelling and to drink plenty of water, so in my shopping basket were also some nice vegetables and other healthy stuff.
I am pretty sure that all of this stuff did not really help that much and that the haemorrhoids actually cleared up on there own - it did however take over a week and a lot of pain! I am sorry to say that the hemorrhoids are more likely to come back again if you have already had them - believe me! I have had them around 3 times now.
The good news is that it has been over 3 years since my last case - so fingers crossed they are gone for good!
