How to Change the Handles on Lee Bullet Molds
- 1). Ensure that the mold with handles has cooled off and there is no molten lead in the bullet cavities. Close the sprue plate (sliding plate on top that covers the bullet cavities).
- 2). Turn the mold upside down and unscrew the two machine screws that hold the mold to the jaws of the handle. Pull the screws completely out of their holes.
- 3). Slide out the two halves of the bullet mold. It can now be put away in its container.
- 4). Slide the new mold into the jaws of the handles. There are slots along the side of the mold where the jaws fit. Slide the mold far enough to align the holes in the mold with the holes in the jaws.
- 5). Install the screws through the holes in the mold, making sure they also go through the holes in the jaws. Tighten the screws
