How to Change the Way Your Avatar Stands on IMVU
- 1). Launch the IMVU chat client on your computer and log in to your account.
- 2). Click the "Shop" button to the right of your avatar.
- 3). Type "Avatar" in the search box, and press the "Enter" key. This shows you all the avatars you can purchase with your IMVU credits.
- 4). Click the "Try" box under the avatar name to preview the avatar, including the standing pose.
- 5). Select the "Buy" button under the avatar name to purchase the avatar using your IMVU credits.
- 6). Click the "Home" tab, then click the "Dress Up" button to the right of your avatar.
- 7). Press the "Avatar" category button within the "My Avatar" box. This shows you your avatars, including the one you purchased.
- 8). Click on the avatar you purchased to apply it to your avatar. Your avatar will change appearance, including the way the avatar stands.
