Easy and Healthy Five Ingredient Recipes are Quick to Make
Here's the dilemma: you want to get in and out of the kitchen quickly, but you have to meet your family's tastes, and you want to serve the healthiest food you can. Turn to this collection of healthy five ingredient recipes to solve all of your problems! Well, not really, but feeding your family well, and quickly, will go a long way towards making your life easier. The recipes use five ingredients or less (not including salt, pepper, oil, flour, water, and seasonings).
As I explained in Healthy in a Hurry, healthy means nutrient dense foods, low in bad fats like trans fat, high in good fats like olive oil, relatively low in calories, and delicious. One way to make sure you're eating well is to try to get as many of the colors of the rainbow onto your plate. In other words, spend most of your time in the grocery store in the produce aisle!
You can, of course, and as always, substitute just about any ingredient in any recipe. You can even go over five ingredients, whereas I cannot! Enjoy these easy recipes this week and start getting ready for spring.
