How to Wear a Button-Down Shirt
- 1). Iron your button-down shirt before you wear it.
- 2). Put on your shirt one sleeve at a time, and button it from the bottom to the top so that you don't mismatch buttons and holes.
- 3). Slip your tie under the collar, and fasten the two collar buttons to the shirt.
- 4). Fold up the cuff sleeves once, and fasten the two buttons on each wrist.
- 5). Tuck your shirt into your pants, and pull the shirt upward at your waistband to give yourself some wiggle room.

- 3). Let the collar hang casually over the shirt, or pull the collar tail upward toward your face for a more stylish look.
- 4). Fold the cuff sleeves two or three times until they feel comfortable on your arms. If there is a button on the inside of the sleeve, fasten it to the hole on the outside of the shirt.
- 5). Tuck your shirt into your pants, or leave it out for a more casual look.
