Take Care to Improve Your Immune System While Undergoing Treatment of Genital Warts

Genital warts are caused by particular strains of human papillomavirus or HPV that enters the body during sexual intercourse with an infected partner.
The virus infects the epidermis or the mucous membrane and then penetrates into the cells through microscopic abrasions that occur during sexual activities.
It does not manifest into genital warts immediately, but can remain in latent stage for years without any outward symptoms.
They can however, infect others even in that stage.
Sometimes the body's immune system clears them.
If the virus manifests as warts, you need to take them seriously because if left untreated, they will enlarge and cause a lot of discomfort.
However, there is no guaranteed cure for genital warts.
Some has higher success rate than the others.
Genital warts can be very tiny or spread into large masses.
Sometimes, they form clusters.
Occasionally, they have a cauliflower like growth.
At other time, they can have the appearance of small flat bumps.
However, they are not at all cancerous.
True, human papillomavirus can cause cancer, but there are 130 subtypes of the virus.
The strains that cause cancer do not create warts and the strains the cause warts do not cause cancer.
However, treatment of genital warts should start as soon as they become visible.
You can either take medications or go for surgery.
There are oral medicines as well as ointments and lotions to be applied directly on the warts.
Alternatively, you can opt for cryosurgery, laser ablation, and surgical excision.
Often warts are burnt with Trichloroacetic acid or a 20% podophyllin anti-mitotic solution.
On top of that, many good FDA approved herbal and homeopathic medicines that can boast of good success rates are available online.
You can try them.
Treatment of genital warts depends on the location of the warts.
Unless it is somewhere deep inside, you can apply various genital wart creams and lotions.
Imiquimod, podofilox or sinecatechin are some example of such creams.
Polyphenon E ointment is an effective genital wart cream, belonging to the sinecatechin group of medicines.
It is extracted from green tea and has a higher clearing rate.
However, these are all prescription medicines and needs to be taken under doctors' guidance because all of them have some adverse side effects.
You can also find some over the counter genital wart creams and lotions that claim to have no side effects.
You need to verify the claims before using them.
Along with medications, eat a balanced and healthy diet.
Include yellow, red or orange fruit in your diet.
Dark green leafy vegetables, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, beans, tomatoes etc also boost your immune system.
Peanuts and whole grains too are good for clearing up the toxin from the body.
As I said before, take immune boosting tonics as well and try to lead a healthy life so that toxin materials do not accumulate in your body.
Prevention is better than cure Your diet is the single most important factor in building up your immune system.
It is always better to consult a dietician and follow a suitable food chart.
Ordinarily, you should take plenty of spinach, carrot, cabbage, lettuce, beans tomatoes, nuts, asparagus, garlic, onion etc.
Take whole grains, yellow, red and orange fruits, milk and milk products, eggs etc.
Make sure you can digest what you eat.
Undigested food weakens the immune system instead of strengthening it.
Along with medicines, you can also try some home remedies.
You can try turmeric paste, sap of milkweed, juices of pineapple, banana peel, fig, aloe vera etc.
They contain enzymes that destroy the wart without harming the skin.
Remember, the genital warts take time to heal because immunity system does not improve in a day.
Be patient.
You will get rid of it soon.
