4 Secrets to Entrepreneurial Success
Everyone it seems is looking for that big win.
The one that will allow them to retire from the day-to-day rat race and live a stress free life for the rest of their days.
Well unless you get lucky on the lottery here's a news flash...
IT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN! That's right, it isn't going to happen.
Unless that is, you plan for it to happen.
There are two types of people.
Those who pray and hope it will happen - eg.
the lottery players - and those who go out there and make something happen.
Needless to say the first type are going nowhere.
The chances of winning the UK lottery for example are some 14 million to one, and as far as the European lottery and the USA lottery...
well lets forget it.
The only way you can make your dreams come true is by planning for it and constantly working towards your goal.
But in saying that lets also be realistic - to make a million is hard and though aiming high is great, being satisfied with less is even better.
That way you will be pleased whatever the outcome of your endeavors.
If earning twice as much as you do now, something quite easily achievable, could give you the life you want, then here's four characteristics you should start developing in yourself.
They are what I call the essential entrepreneurial factors.
Factor 1 - Determination.
This is the quality of never giving up.
Regardless of the obstacles you will continue to seek out a better life for yourself.
Determination to succeed lies behind all the great entrepreneurs.
Factor2 - Persistence.
A little different from determination.
When you have a goal you will be determined to see it through.
If the goal fails, or you realise further down the line that it is unlikely to happen then you need persistence to look for another route to your ultimate goal.
In other words you don't take failure lying down.
You stand right up again on your own feet and persistently carry on albeit in a different way.
Factor 3 - Results Orientated.
You focus exclusively on the results that such an action or course will give you.
When you are just starting out, results are what puts bread on the table.
Sure planning and considering your next moves are important but if that's all you do you'll starve.
You must ensure that every action has a purpose and look to maximise the results.
Factor 4 - Never Forgetting.
When you have finally reached your goal you must always remember what it was like in your "before life.
"Remember the struggles and sacrifices you endured to get to where you are today.
That will mean you never give up or become apathetic in your pursuit of a better life and if your business grows and you need extra staff, you will be a much more understanding manager and a boss people will want to work for.
