Business Opportunities - 5 Places to Quickly Find Home Business Ideas

In good economic times or bad, you can find great home business ideas crawling around you everywhere! Here are five excellent places to look: (1) Search Amazon.
com!
I just searched Amazon for books about "small business" and "home-based businesses.
" What popped up? Literally hundreds of books did, and many of them offered a free "Look Inside" that contained dozens of fresh ideas! (And I didn't have to buy the books!) (2) Check out the magazine racks! Supermarkets and drugstores always have magazine sections.
Take a look through the biz-op magazines, or any of the special interest publications.
Step back and look at the variety of subjects! Just reading the headlines on magazine covers can spark ideas.
(3) Watch TV! Generally, I'd suggest that you protect your attitude by avoiding the tube.
But go ahead and watch the infomercials.
Watch the shopping networks.
Watch the financial programs.
Even watch some of the talk shows, especially local shows that profile small businesses.
You'll find lots of business ideas on these programs.
(4) Talk to local business owners! As you move through your day and step in and out of local stores, talk with the owners or managers.
Ask "How's business?" -- not in a snooping way but in an honestly interested way.
During poor economic times, business people are often very open about the problems they face.
Maybe you can help solve those problems! (5) Shop with a sense of curiosity.
As you walk through the aisles in your local stores, make note of what products seem to be hot sellers right now.
Which products are being specially promoted with their own displays? Which items are "lost in the crowd"? Those "lost" items might just need a little revitalizing tweak to help you launch a new business!
