How to Lighten Skin Naturally
- 1). Make a natural bleaching mask to lighten skin. Steep one teaspoon dried fennel in one cup of boiling water for at least one hour. Strain the herbal material from the water, and add one tablespoon buttermilk. Apply directly to the skin and allow the mask to remain on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
- 2). Make a natural skin lightening cream by combining equal parts lemon juice and egg whites. Heat in a small saucepan over low heat until the mixture thickens. - 4). Use chamomile to lighten skin naturally. Add three teaspoons dried chamomile flowers to one cup of boiling water, and allow the mixture to steep for 10 minutes. Strain the herbs from the liquid, and add one tbsp. each of honey and rose water. Apply directly to the skin, and rinse after 15 minutes. This treatment can be performed daily, and any excess solution store in the refrigerator.
- 5). Use oatmeal and tomato juice to lighten skin naturally. Both of these food items have slight bleaching properties. Combine one part oatmeal with one part tomato juice, and apply directly to the skin. Leave the mixture on for at least 20 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly. This treatment can be repeated up to three times daily, as necessary.
