Cuzco, Peru: Cathedral through arches

The cathedral was built over the site of the temple to Wiracocha and is a fine example of colonial architecture. There are two other churches linked to the cathedral: the Iglesia Jesus Maria on the right, begun in 1733, and Iglesia El Triunfo, dating from 1536, the oldest church in Cuzco.
