How to Sync the iPhone 4G to More Than One Computer
- 1). Download and install the latest version of iTunes onto the new computer you want to sync the iPhone with.
- 2). Launch iTunes on the computer and click the "Store" menu. Select "Authorize This Computer" from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Enter the username and password of the iTunes account the iPhone is currently using and click the "Authorize" button.
- 4). Click the "Store" menu once again and select "Sign In." Enter the same username and password to sign into the iTunes account now that the computer is authorized to access it.
- 5). Connect the iPhone to the new computer using its USB cable. The computer will automatically recognize the iPhone and an entry for the handset will appear in the "Devices" pane of iTunes.
- 6). Click the entry for the iPhone in the "Devices" pane of iTunes, followed by the "Summary" tab. Click the "Sync" button in the bottom-right corner, and the iPhone will be synchronized with the new computer. This process can be repeated with up to five different computers.
