Thrush Symptoms in Babies - How to Identify Symptoms of Thrush

Babies are so helpless and vulnerable; it's hard as a parent to cope with having your child suffer from any health problem.
Thrush can be frustrating and difficult to deal with, but you can also find success with the right approach.
Let's look at the most common thrush symptoms in babies: *white coating on baby's tongue that won't wipe away (sometimes there may be milk residue on the tongue that resembles thrush, however this will wipe away) *if you try to remove white residue in baby's mouth and it's thrush, this will often cause some bleeding or irritation *white, creamy, cottage-cheese like patches of yeast overgrowth in on your baby's tongue, cheeks, gums, etc.
*baby may be fussy or irritable *reluctance to nurse or feed/loss of appetite *in more severe cases, there may be a low grade fever *yeast diaper rash (usually observed as an angry, red rash with a clearly distinct border).
These are the most common symptoms of thrush in babies.
If you're breastfeeding your baby, there may also be signs and symptoms of breastfeeding thrush in mom as well: *itchy, red, or cracked nipples *shooting pains in the breasts *pain while nursing that doesn't go away *other yeast symptoms, such as vaginal yeast.
Thrush is caused by that invasion of the yeast candida albicans.
The yeast is quite resilient, so it can be tricky to treat without the right approach.
When I confronted thrush with my first baby, I was determined not to use drugs due to the potential side effects - especially in a vulnerable baby.
At the same time, a lot of natural remedies for baby thrush are not effective enough to get rid of it.
I found what really works to get rid of thrush in babies quickly and naturally is a 2 step approach: 1.
) Get rid of the yeast with safe, natural substances.
This may seem obvious, but it's not enough! You need to do the next step which is: 2.
) Build up your baby's natural yeast defenses.
If your baby has thrush, it means there's an imbalance that needs to be corrected in order to truly get rid of the thrush and to keep it coming back as well.
This is the crucial step that is so often overlooked.
