Canon A570 Instructions
- 1). Install a fully charged battery and a memory card, and turn on the camera.
- 2). Turn the exposure mode dial located on top of the camera to any of the "basic zone" exposure modes, identified by the small icons, or the "creative zone" exposure modes, which are identified by letters. The camera also has the ability to shoot in manual mode.
- 3). Hold the camera with both hands, and using your right hand, adjust the zoom function for the lens by adjusted the "circular zoom rocker" that surrounds the shutter release button. The lens has an "Image Stabilization" feature that will assist in minimizing camera shake when shooting both stills and video.
- 4). Press the menu button located on the bottom right of the back of the camera, and using the larger circular button, you can select the built-in "Red Eye" reduction feature. Press the shutter slightly to exit the menu mode and return to shooting mode.
- 5). Hold the camera to your eye and look through the optical viewfinder, or use the live view feature to compose the picture on the camera's LCD screen. Press the shutter all the way down to take the picture. Press the "DISP" button on the back of the camera to view the picture you just shot.
