How to Change iPhone Themes With a PC
- 1). Log onto the Internet and choose a new theme for the iPhone that you like. Try searching with popular search engines for "free iPhone themes." The theme file you are looking for will have a '.pkg' suffix.
- 2). Download and install the iTunes program. This available free from the Apple website.
- 3). Download and install the iPhone Hack Toolkit. You can find it on a number of sources, again use a popular search engine to locate the file.
- 4). Connect the iPhone to your computer using the USB connector cable. Open the Hack Toolkit file and select the "jailbreak" option to unlock you iPhone's restrictions
- 5). Open iTunes and select "import." Browse your computer for the theme you downloaded and select "OK." The file will then be uploaded to your iPhone.
- 6). Open the iPhone's setting menu and select the new theme that you uploaded. Disconnect your iPhone and then restart it. The new theme will now be applied.
