How to Upload Videos on a BlackBerry
- 1). Convert the video file to a compatible file type if necessary. To do this, open a web browser and navigate to the Media-Convert website (see Resources below for a link). Browse to and select the video file to convert, select the input file type, select the output file type and click "OK." The video file will be converted on the fly.
- 2). Plug one end of the USB connector cable into the laptop or PC, and then the other end into the BlackBerry.
- 3). Click "Yes" to the "Enable Mass Storage" dialog box on the BlackBerry. The contents on the BlackBerry device and memory card will be enabled for Windows Explorer.
- 4). Allow the computer to find the device and assign a drive letter and list the device as a removable drive.
- 5). Right-click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Explore" to open Windows Explorer.
- 6). Navigate to the video file to upload.
- 7). Right-click on the video file and select "Copy" from the context menu.
- 8). Navigate to the BlackBerry device. Double-click and expand the folder labeled "BlackBerry."

Right-click inside the "Videos" folder and select "Paste" to copy the video file into the folder. - 11
Close Explorer by clicking the top right "X." - 12
Unplug the connector cable from the PC and disconnect the BlackBerry. Note: Data files will not show up on the device until the device has been disconnected from the computer. - 13
Click the "Media" icon on the BlackBerry and then select "Videos." The new video file will be listed. - 14
Play the new video file on the BlackBerry to test the upload.
