How to Keep VGA Live Without a Monitor Adapter
- 1). Insert the VGA cable into the VGA connection port of the computer system. This is a serial cable connection and typically has a monitor icon printed next to it.
- 2). Tighten the screws along the side of the connection to secure the VGA cable to your computer system.
- 3). Insert the opposite end of the VGA cable into the VGA connection port on your monitor. As with the opposite end, tighten the screws to secure the connection.
- 4). Power on the computer and the connected monitor. The video signal from the system appears directly on the monitor, without the help of any adapter.
