Facial Hair: Tips For Women To Eliminate It

Facial hair and removing facial hair are two terms that go together hand in hand, and should be both perfectly save for your skin and practical, leaving you with skin as soft as a baby´s bottom.
Of course, certain precautions must be taken before and after, and this implies the appropriate use of beauty products.
In this article we present, in simple terms and to the point, a few tips to remove hair from your face safely and effectively.
First off: From Where? Obviously the face, but this does not relate exclusively to the upper lip, but also the eyebrows and all those unwanted hairs which may arise in the chin or cheeks.
Nobody likes to display hair on the face that nature did not really want us to have (or at least we don´t), so everybody wants to eliminate it effectively.
But beware! Since you should always use facial hair removal products and take the specific precautions the method demands.
Does and Don´ts.
What About Shaving? For facial hair never, under any circumstances, use the razor.
The hair will look stronger and darker, not to mention that in just over 24 hours it will be back, similar to the male beard.
Although shaving does not make it grow more or provoke more hairs growing, as the cut tapers of the end, two things happen.
The first is that it feels stronger, but secondly our hair growths in stages and at any one time individual hairs are at different stages.
With shaving these stages will tend to synchronize, as you do this every day.
If you must shave, preferably the legs, or perhaps pubic hair: It is essential that after shaving facial hair use a product to calm and, if you go out into the street, a sunscreen (for the legs I mean).
This prevents irritations and blemishes.
The best time is at night and so have a few hours for the skin to recover and not show up the red marks that are often left.
And Depilatory Creams (Gels or Lotions)? Be very careful when applying these to the face as they are based on chemicals that weaken the hair so you can wipe it of.
But, it is a chemical reaction that takes place so it can affect the sensitive skin (not to mention possible rashes showing up, where you replaced a few hairs with a bothersome and very noticeable rash).
Having said that, every day new depilatories are being introduced that are more kindly to facial hair.
Recommended Facial Hair Removal Methods: These are undoubtedly methods that remove hair from beneath the skin, in other words the hair is pulled out by the roots.
These methods are:
  • cold, hot, warm wax,
  • tweezers
  • threading
These can be painful, as the hair is being pulled, but then we all know nothing is perfect - then again one of their advantages is that hair regrowth can be from two to six weeks, and over time the hair weakens, needing less treatment.
