How to Record Webcasts
- 1). Open your web browser (such as Firefox or Mozilla) and click on or copy the link for the VideoLAN file listed in the Resource section.
- 2). Confirm the download by right clicking and saving it to your desktop.
- 3). Double click (left click) the executable "vlc-1.0.2-win32.exe" file to install it.
- 4). Double click the VideoLAN executable.
- 5). Under File > Settings select "Windows media format" to save future files (wmv).
- 6). When ready to record, hit the "Record" button.
- 7). When done recording, hit the "Pause" or "Stop" button.
