Red-Orange

• Camellia (Camellia japonica) shrubs bloom with red to pink double and single flowers. An evergreen, the camellia has glossy, deep green foliage. These shrubs thrive in acidic, sandy soil and partial shade. The cigarette plant (Cuphea micropetala) produces tubular, orange blossoms. This evergreen grows up to 5 feet tall and tolerates a range of sun and soil conditions. The painted buckeye tree (Aesculus sylvatica) blooms with showy, reddish-orange blossoms This 10-foot-tall tree is a North American native. Yellow

• The Florida jasmine (Jasminum floridum) blooms with fragrant, yellow flowers. The small, star-shaped flowers contrast with the plant's deep green foliage. This evergreen shrub tolerates a range of soil and sun conditions. • Summersweet clethra (Clethra alnifolia) blooms in midsummer. This deciduous shrub produces long-lasting, white to pink blossoms with a strong, pleasant fragrance. Summersweet clethra grows between 3 and 8 feet tall and prefers acidic, moist soil. The bottlebrush buckeye (Aesculus parviflora) also produces showy white flowers in late summer. This North American native grows to 12 feet tall with a 15-foot spread. Bottlebrush buckeyes prefer shade. The American yellowwood tree (Cladrastis lutea) produces fragrant, white clusters of flowers in early summer. A disease- and pest-tolerant tree, the American yellowwood grows best in full sun. This deciduous tree produces brilliant fall foliage. Other exceptional white bloomers include white flowered frangipani (Plumeria alba), dogwood tree (cornus florida) and sourwood tree (Oxydendrum arboretum).
  
  

Pink

• The rose jacobina (Jacobinia velutina) blooms with deep rose-colored blossoms. A dwarf plant, the rose jacobina grows up to a foot tall and usually only lasts through a single season. Several crabapple trees produce showy pink blooms. The sweet crabapple (Malus coronaria) grows to 20 feet tall and blooms with fragrant blossoms that attract wildlife. The Southern crabapple also attracts wildlife with its showy pink flowers. This tree grows up to 25 feet tall.
  
  

Purple-Blue
