Program Satellite

• 1). Select "Menu," followed by pressing "Dish Settings," "Satellite" and "OK". This brings up the entire list of satellites. Scroll down to the satellite listed as 0.0E (blank satellite position) and press "OK."
  
  
• 2). Select the following settings on the screen:
  LNB Power is set to "On."
  LNB Type is set to "Single."
  LNB Frequency is set to "10.750."
  22KHz is set to "On" or "Off" (whichever is appropriate for your switch configuration).
  DiSeqC Switch is set to either "1.0" or "Off."
  Legacy SW is set to a value that is appropriate for your system.
  
  Press "Exit," select "Yes" and press "OK" to save the settings.
  
  
• 3). Select "Manual Scan" (on the "Main Menu" screen) and press "OK."
  On the new screen:
  Go to "Frequency" and enter a valid transponder frequency for the satellite that you want to add (if not sure, just enter "11.700").
  Go to "Symbol Rate" and enter a valid SR (if not sure, just enter "20.000").
  Go to "Polarization" and select "V" or "H" (if not sure, just leave it at default).
  
  Press "Exit," and the changes will be saved automatically.
  
  
• 4). Select "Motorized Settings" (on the "Main Menu" screen) and press "OK."
  On the new screen:
  Go to "DiSeqC Motor" and select "USALS."
  Go to "SAT Degree" and enter the satellite position and press "OK."
  
  Press "Exit" and changes will be saved automatically.
  
  
• 5). Go back at the "Motorized Setting Menu," then press the red button on your remote. A keyboard will be displayed; type in the name of your satellite and then press "Exit." Press "Exit" again to go back to "Main Menu."
  
  

Scan Channels

• 1). Highlight "Blind Scan" (on the "Main Menu" Screen) and press "OK." When your new satellite is highlighted in yellow, press "OK" to select it. Now press the "Volume Up" button on the remote to select the scanning parameter fields.
  
  
• 2). Highlight the "TP frequency" line at the top and press "OK." Do not change the "From" frequency. Leave this set as "11.700". Change the "To" frequency from 12.250 to "12.200" and press "Exit."
  
  
• 3). Highlight the "SR" and change this from "Full" to "Detail." Go down to "Press OK" and press "OK" to begin scanning.
  
  
• 4). Press "Exit" (when it finishes scanning) and exit out of all menus, then turn the power off the Coolsat 6000. Wait for five seconds and power it back on.
