• An Intex pool's circulation system removes particles and debris from the water and returns it to the pool. To keep the water clean and circulating optimally, make sure the filters are clear at all times and actually catching debris. You can make a filter out of wire to catch very small particles or simply purchase them at a pool supply store. Pool chemicals, skimmers, inlets, pumps, filters and the heating system all work together quite efficiently until one component breaks, down causing the rest of the system to malfunction.

Generally, pumps on the outside can easily be hooked up to intakes. • A sand filter is, by far, the easiest and most convenient way to improve and maintain an Intex pool system. Unlike other types of filters that need to be removed and cleaned, a sand filter can simply be backwashed into the outlet hose. A sand filter also has the ability to catch finer debris, but with the simple backwash feature all of the debris will exit the system in a matter of minutes.
