Neopets Castle Battles Tips
- In Castle Battles, points do more than get you a trophy -- they also help you in game. In fact, your castle is rebuilt once you reach 1,000 points. To get to 1,000 points, focus on knocking over the AI's flags. Red and blue flags are worth 10 points, while gold flags are worth 12. Knocking over gold flags will also give you a valuable power-up.
- The AI's intelligence and skill increases throughout the game. Because the AI has poor aim at low levels, completely destroy his castle before going for the treasure chest. This ensures maximum points. On high levels, work quickly to destroy gold flags and knock the chest over. Another battle strategy is to fire your first shot at the towers. This will give you an overhead view of the AI's castle and show you the location of his chest.
- On the first level, when the AI has the worst aim, place your chest on the far corner of the map away from your opponent and outside your castle. The AI will miss both the chest and your castle. On higher levels, bury your own chest beneath rubble. The physics of the game make fortified chests harder to move.
- Many Neopets games have cheats built into them, including Castle Battles. The game has only one known cheat, but it is powerful. Once per game, type "supercannonball." You do not have to press enter afterward. This will cause a giant cannonball to hit the AI's castle. Its castle will be mostly or completely destroyed.
