Golf Training Aids - What is the Right Aid For a Novice Golfer?
Golf is a sport that requires a lot of patience and practice in getting the right form and the right swing that will assure that the ball will reach the tee in the most efficient way possible.
That is the ideal.
On good days I make a lot of wild swings and almost always manage to make a detour on the rough before I could even reach the next green.
Frustrated as it is, I still got caught up in the deluge of people in my circle who has become fascinated with the game.
I for one would the first to admit that I know diddly squat about golf.
But I am not one to back out on a challenge.
I have a lot to learn but at the rate I'm going, it'll probably take forever before I could get anything accomplished.
This calls for golf training aids for a novice like me.
I am eager and willing to learn but for some reason beyond me, I can't seem to get things right the first time.
I remember all those sit down sessions with my mother during schooldays and making me increase my homework, to which she would claim, is necessary to make sure I get to understand the lecture.
It has become a pattern to me.
I needed to work harder than average in order to be able to compete or at least be on the same footing as the regular people who almost always get things figured out faster than I could.
It has developed my discipline in every project that I tackle.
When I got started on the game I didn't know that there are a lot of things I must consider like clothes along with the equipment.
Shopping is not my forte.
I'd probably get thousands of an item I don't need.
I had to have to hire somebody aid me in buying the right equipment and the right clothes.
I had training manuals and instructional videos delivered at my doorstep.
It helped me to a point.
I picked up a lot of hints and tips from all those reading materials.
It is still different when one practices them on the field though.
A bad wind, a series of wild swings could make a game go wrong at a drop of a hat.
It sure makes up for an interesting game I can't let go.
Having a golf training aid sure would improve my game a lot.
It takes a load off my shoulders trying to remember all those lectures.
I learned that I could learn more effectively while being able to see how the strokes are done first hand and the form being corrected as you progress towards the holes.
I am not shy about admitting that I am a klutz and needed help bad.
But it is on this honesty with my self that I had overcome a lot of past obstacles.
When I know the areas that need to be corrected and improved, thanks to those training aids, I am able to make some augmenting measures to counter them.
The chance to play better makes golf even more of a heady experience for me.
