How to Perm the Lashes
- 1). Take off all eye makeup with makeup remover. Once you have completed this, clean the eye area, including the lashes, using water and a cloth. Allow the area to air-dry for seven to 10 minutes. If you wear contact lenses, take them out.
- 2). Take six to 10 cotton pads and place them in warm water, then wring them out.
- 3). Take the eyelash curling rods out and custom bend them to fit the shape of your eye. You can trim the curling rods if you have smaller eyes than that of the rod size.
- 4). Take one of the cotton pads and cover your lower eyelid with it to protect the skin. Squeeze the eyelash glue onto your lower eyelid and put the curling rod on top of the glue line. Add another line of glue to the top of the rod to secure it into place. This will keep the lashes in place while you apply the perming solution.
- 5). Swab your eyelashes with the applicator stick dabbed with a light amount of perm solution. You don't not need to use an excessive amount of the solution.
- 6). Allow the perm solution to sit on your eyelashes for about 13 to 15 minutes. Remove all perm solution from your lashes using the water-soaked cotton pads. This will also remove the eyelash glue. Repeat the steps for the other eye.
