3 Easy Holistic Dog Food Recipes

Many pet owners today are turning to holistic dog food as a natural, safe, and economical alternative to commercially prepared pet food.
Cooking for your canine companion can be a wonderful way to strengthen the bond with your pet, but it's important to make sure your dog receives a balanced diet.
Feeding your pet a holistic dog food diet is a great way to help him live a long, happy life.
For optimum health, a dog's diet should include not only protein, but some whole grains, fruits, and vegetables as well.
It's important to discuss any changes in your dog's diet with your veterinarian first to help prevent certain malnutrition-related conditions.
That being said, here are three favorite homemade recipes for holistic dog food: Lucky's Lamb & Rice Dinner Makes 4 servings - 1 1/2 cups whole-grain brown rice - 2 tsp.

Meanwhile, mix the potatoes, celery, carrots, ground meat, and eggs in a large bowl.
Add the olive oil, rice and oats, and mix well.
