Pinnacle Video Transfer Instructions

    • 1). Cue up your video device to the point at which you want to start recording, then connect it to the color-coded RCA ports on the top of the Pinnacle Video Transfer. Turn the device on and wait for the LED beside the Transfer's RCA port to turn blue.

    • 2). Plug the USB cable for your device or computer into the USB slot at the bottom of the Pinnacle Video Transfer. Plug the other end into the USB port on your device or computer. Wait for the LED beside the Transfer's USB port to turn blue.

    • 3). Press "Mode" to increase the video quality of the file you wish to send to your device, displayed by the amount of LEDs on the front of the Pinnacle Video Transfer. One LED denotes a low-quality video file that will not take up much space, two LEDs denote a medium-quality file, and three LEDs indicate the largest, highest-quality file. To decrease file size, press "Mode" when three LEDs are glowing.

    • 4). Press "Rec" on the Pinnacle Video Transfer and start your video device playing by pressing "Play" or "Start" on the device.

    • 5). Press "Rec" again to stop recording. If your device doesn't have a separate view-screen, remember that the Transfer records in real time: If you want to transfer 20 minutes of video, leave the device running for 20 minutes. Do not disconnect either device until the LEDs on the front of the Pinnacle Video Transfer are glowing blue; for longer or higher-quality videos, this may take up to 20 minutes.
