Florida Aquarium Clubs

Coastal Aquarium Society
We are an established club that has a variety of activities for the tropical fish keeper. Every month we have a program based on the hobby - bowl show each meeting and picnics and club presentations outside of the meeting area 2-3 times a year.

Gainesville Koi Club
The main objective of the club is to encourage interest, study and a greater appreciation in the hobbies of Koi keeping and water gardening.

The club provides information on all aspects of these hobbies using our members and local experts as resources for answers to questions about Koi keeping, designing and maintaining ponds, and providing a healthy habitat for aquatic life.

Gold Coast Aquarium Society
Anyone interested is welcome as the meetings are quite informal. The meetings start with time to mingle, then a quick review of club business, followed by a presentation given by a club member or invited speaker. We close with an auction of fish, plants, and products.

North Florida Koi Club
We are affiliated with the Associated Koi Clubs of America (AKCA) as a member club. The club publishes a monthly newsletter, Barbels, for our membership. We hold a Young Koi Show and a Pond Tour in the Spring.

First Coast Koi, Goldfish & Watergarden Club
Our club is dedicated to promoting the appreciation and joy of koi, goldfish and water gardens through education, mutual support, and public exhibits in Jacksonville Florida and neighboring areas.

Toward that end we also provide Koi Rescue for your unwanted Koi.The club meets every third Sunday of the month at a member home (pond), unless we have a planned field trip, show, auction or special event. If you need more information or have questions, please email the club (webmaster@firstcoastkoiclub.com) or call a board member and ask away. We will get back to you!

Florida East Coast Koi & Pond Club
Our club is a place to share common intersets related to the hobby of pond keeping. Our purpose is to provide educational programs regarding pond keeping, to promote water gardening as a leisure activity, and to promote the appreciation of koi and goldfish in outdoor pond settings.

Suncoast Killifish Society
The Suncoast Killifish Society supports and otherwise participates in achieving the objectives of the Killifish Conservation Program.

Southern Koi Association
The focus of this club is solely Koi, with emphasis on appreciation of these beautiful fish and learning to grow them to their maximum potential. Members of SKA are students of water quality, Koi pond and filtration design, Koi health, and of course the many Koi varieties and the history of their origins. The chapter’s members are avid Koi show people and collectors who have attended and helped manage shows in Florida and outside the state for many years.

Tampa Bay Aquarium Society
Meetings are held at the Tampa Bay Aquarium.

Tampa Bay Koi and Water Garden Club
The Tampa Bay Koi and Water Garden Club's goal is to create, promote and enlarge the hobby of Koi keeping and water gardening. We also share information and educational activities related to all aspects of ponds.

Tropical Koi Club of South Florida
The club meets the 2nd Sunday of the month pondside at a member’s residence or other venues of general interest to club members. We discuss the finer points of keeping and raising Koi. The club has Koi Health Advisors certified through the Associated Koi Clubs of America (AKCA) who can assist with any health or pond construction problems with the latest information and technology.

If you know of other Florida aquarium clubs that are not on this list, please email freshaquarium@aboutguide.com with details. Thank you.
