Industrial Wireless Controls for Aircraft Refueling Control

Wireless Deadman series Trigger switch industrial wireless controls are developed specifically for industrial applications requiring positive operator-to-machine contact. This remote control technology enabled wireless trigger switch is generally used to send Radio Frequency commands signals of the pump. While using the system the operator is unencumbered by cables and wires normally used in 'deadman' fueling operations.

The system also incorporates a secure frequency hopping spread spectrum radio link which is virtually immune to outside electrical or RF interference. FHSS technology enables the system to provide interference free control. While using as an automatic refueling system the Deadman series industrial wireless controls can prevent all types of electrical and radio interference. All the operations will fail safe (shutdown) with any loss of signal from transmitter. The rechargeable transmitter delivers 30hrs of continuous use between charges. 12/24VDC charger is supplied by the manufacturers.

The system includes the following features:

The safety timer software included in the system is available to limit switch closure duration before the automatic shut-down method.

The automatic shut-off feature requires periodic trigger pulse by operator in order to maintain €on' condition.

These systems are available for up to eleven other command functions available per customer requirements.

All the modular quick-connect components allow for easy installation and field service.

All the pre-wired solenoids are available for Pneumatic, Hydraulic, or Hose Reel control interface.

The Hose-Reel options allow the remote unwind and rewind control by greatly reducing effort required pulling the hose off the reel. As a result all types of potential injury are reduced and productivity is increased through easier hose handling. The prewired hose reel motor solenoids are also easy to install and 70Amp breaker included with this option. The Hose-Reel is generally designed to prevent Unwind and Rewind circuits from being energized at the same time.

The PTO or the Pump option extends pump life and at the same time increases safety by allowing operator to engage and disengage the PTO and PUMP from hose end at customer's storage tank. However, the truck PTO shaft is not turning, pump is not running in by-pass, and hose is not charged unless connected to the customer's tank. The operator can use electric, pneumatic, "hot shift" or "clutch shift" PTO connections. The remote PTO DELAY option of the system automatically opens tank internal valve 5 seconds prior to engaging PTO allowing pump and product lines to equalize pressure. This is a unique feature that prevents an excess flow 'slug' situation which when happens, starves the pump of product, and may lead to pump failure.

An important Engine RPM or Throttle option will be there that generally allows an operator to increase/ decrease truck engine RPM and corresponding pump volume from the customer's tank/ hose-end of the delivery. The Operator can start delivery process at any time by ensuring that the product is flowing safely, then it increases pump speed until tank is nearly full. The wiring connections are available for any electronic or mechanical engine control system.
