How to Use Baseball Cards As Seating Cards

    • 1). Create a list of all of your attendees.

    • 2). Obtain baseball cards and softball cards at baseball and softball card retailer. Do not purchase valuable baseball cards as these will be marked-up and handled.

    • 3). Purchase old baseball replica baseball programs. You want to purchase programs which are light in tone and inexpensive, as these will be written on.

    • 4). Match the first name of each guest with the first name of a player from the baseball and softball cards. If there are duplicate names, then try to find a similar first letter of the last name. If this does not exist, worry about it in the next step.

    • 5). Write table numbers across each baseball program which you printed or purchased. You will need one program per table of guests. For instance, the first program will have "Table 1" assigned to it.

    • 6). Assign guests to each table by writing their correlated table on the back of their baseball card. For instance if "John Smith" is signified by a "Johnny Bench" card, placing a 1 on the back of the card will signify that "John Smith" is to be seated at table 1. If you have two guests with similar first and last names, make an alteration on the front of each card so that it is clear which card belongs to which person. Writing their name in full under the last name of the baseball player is a good way to separate.

    • 7). Lay the baseball seating cards out on a table with their corresponding table program. Then when it is time for people to take their seats, instruct them to find their baseball card.
