How to Change a File Sample Size

- 1). Right-click on the sample file and select "Properties." Notice the file size in the Properties window.
- 2). Right-click on the sample file and select "Send to" in Windows Vista or 7. In Windows XP, select "New."
- 3). Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" from the menu. Windows will now compress the new folder with the sample file inside.
- 4). Right-click the new compressed folder and select "Properties." Notice the file size is smaller for the compressed folder than it was for the sample file.
