How to Format Emails in an iPad

    Evernote

    • 1). Open the "App Store" application. Tap the search field. Type "Evernote" and tap "Search." Tap "Evernote" in the list of results and tap "Install" on the app's details page.

    • 2). Tap the "Evernote" app icon on your home screen and tap "Create an Account." Type your personal information in the corresponding text fields and tap "Register" to create your Evernote account.

    • 3). Tap "New Note." Tap the title field and type a title for your email.

    • 4). Tap the composition field to reveal the rich text menu options at the top of the screen.

    • 5). Compose and format your email using the rich text options at the top of the screen. For instance, if you want to format a part of your text as a header, highlight the text, tap the paragraph symbol and tap "Section."

    • 6). Tap "Save" when you've finished formatting the email.

    • 7). Tap the thumbnail of the document in the Evernote home screen. Tap the "Send To" icon in the bottom menu and touch "Email."

    • 8). Type the address of the email's recipient in the To text field and tap "Send" to send the formatted text.

    Writer's Studio

    • 1). Open the "App Store" application. Tap the "Search" field and type "Writer's Studio." Tap "Search" and then "Writer's Studio" from the list of results. Tap the price tag and tap "Install" to install the app to your iPad.

    • 2). Open Writer's Studio on your iPad when the app has finished downloading.

    • 3). Tap the "T" button in the left menu bar to activate the text editing tool.

    • 4). Tap anywhere on the white screen to place a cursor box. Tap the "T" button again to reveal the text formatting options and touch your preferred format from the menu. For instance, if you want to align the text right, tap the "Right Align" button in the menu.

    • 5). Tap the "Folder" button in the right menu when you've finished formatting the email and touch "Copy Page to Clipboard."

    • 6). Double-click the home button to reveal the app tray and tap the "Mail" app icon to open the application.

    • 7). Tap the "Compose" button in the top right; type the address of the recipient in the "To" text field, and tap and hold your finger on the composition field and touch "Paste." Your formatted email appears as a PNG image in the composition field. Tap "Send" to send the formatted email to the recipient.
