How to Use Casio Ex-Z77 USB Cables
- 1). Press the "Power" button on top of the camera to turn the EX-Z77 on. Confirm that the battery is fully charged before transferring files to the computer.
- 2). Press the "Menu" button on the back of the camera. Push the four-way navigation button to select the "Set Up" tab in the main menu. Push the navigation button down to highlight "USB," press the button to the right to select it and push the button down to select "Mass Storage." Press "Set" in the center of the navigation button. The camera functions in both "Rec" and "Play" mode when connected by USB cord to the computer.
- 3). Press the "Power" button to turn the camera off.
- 4). Orient the small end of the supplied USB cord to the shape of the "USB/AV" connector on the bottom of the EX-Z77 and firmly plug the end into the connector in the direction of the arrow. Some metal from the contacts shows after insertion. Plug the larger, flat end of the USB cord into an open USB port on your computer.
- 5). Press the "Power" button to turn the camera on. If image viewer software doesn't start automatically, click "Start" on the bottom-left of the screen. Click "My Computer" in the "Start" menu, double-click "Removable Disk," double-click "DCIM" and double-click the appropriate image folder. Double-click the image you wish to view.
