Solutions For Acne - What Really Works?

If you've ever had a face full of red, unsightly bumps, then you have without doubt been eager for some solutions for acne that really work, and that work fast.
No one likes to get pimples, but we are susceptible to them from the time we reach adolescence, and can get them at any age throughout our lives.
While the most troublesome years are usually the early teens to mid twenties, there is usually an occasional pimple here and there no matter how old you are.
Sometimes, even middle aged adults can be beset by horrible bouts of acne.
When this happens, what do you do to get rid of it? Here are some of the top solutions for acne that can get your skin looking clean, bright, and healthy in a hurry.
  1. Use tea tree oil
  2. This is an excellent natural acne treatment that works like a charm.
All you need to do is apply a drop or two of tea tree oil directly to the pimple several times a day until it is gone.
    It won't take long.
The oil of this native Australian tree quickly dries up the pimple and sanitizes the area so that it doesn't come back.
You can get tea tree oil in nearly any health food store or order it online.
  3. Try steam
  4. This is a very effective method for removing pimples and has been around for generations.
Simply wet a wash cloth under hot running water, as hot as you can stand it.
Then, wring the wash cloth out and place it against the pimple for 10 to 20 minutes and allow the steam heat from the hot water to soften the skin over the pimple and gradually cause it to break open, releasing the dirty contents.
Then, wash up with a little soap and water and the pimple is gone!
  5. Apply a little witch hazel
  6. Among solutions for acne, this is one of the cheapest, besides steam.
Just get a bottle of witch hazel from the drug store.
In most cases, you can get a good sized bottle for less than a dollar.
Then, apply the witch hazel directly to the pimple using a clean cotton ball.
Do this several times a day, and the witch hazel will shrink the acne and dry it up, much like tea tree oil will.
The only difference in the treatments is that witch hazel doesn't sanitize like tea tree oil does, so you will have to wash up with soap and water afterward.
So, you see, there are plenty of solutions for acne.
These solutions are inexpensive and all natural, so you don't have to worry about putting toxic chemicals on your face.
Simply indulge in the luxury of what nature provides and discover a whole new world of clean, smooth skin that is all yours!
