How to Make Apple and Apricot Body Cream

    • 1). Quarter 15 small McIntosh apples and place them in a large saucepan.

    • 2). Add 2 cups of distilled water to the saucepan and bring just to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour off any excess water.

    • 3). Add ½ cup of apricot kernel oil and 1 tbsp. of lemon zest. Mix well with a wooden spoon or disposable stirrer.

    • 4). Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.

    • 5). Add 4 drops of lemon essential oil and stir to combine.

    • 6). Transfer the apple and apricot body cream, using a funnel, to a wide-mouth glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
