Supported File Formats

• Both Walkmans are able to play back MP3, WMA, and WAV audio files, as well as H.264, MPEG-4, and WMV video files. The S545 can also play AAC audio files, while the E345 can play MP4 audio files.
  
  

Purchasing

• The E345 is a discontinued item and is no longer being released or sold through Sony. The S545, however, can be purchased new from Sony or authorized dealers for around $90 to $141 (as of November 2010).
