- 1). Place the tip of a 2 1/8-inch hole saw against the end cap on the top exhaust pipe and drill out the end cap. There are two ends to the cap: one you have your saw against and one about an inch inside the pipe. Drill both out.
- 2). Pull the end cap pieces out of the hole with a pair of pliers.
- 3). Locate the 1-inch tube inside the tailpipe approximately 3 inches back from the end of the pipe. Pull the tube out of the tailpipe with a pair of pliers. This is the baffle.
- 4). Duplicate the process for the lower exhaust pipe.
