How to Set Up a Mini Fridge

    • 1). Take the mini fridge out of the box and locate the various parts. You should have feet for the bottom and at least one wire shelf. You might also have a drawer and ice cube tray.

    • 2). Insert the feet into the holes underneath the fridge. Screw them down by hand; in some cases you must use a screwdriver to drive in screws through the feet and into the bottom of the fridge.

    • 3). Turn the fridge right side up and open the door. Look for the holes on the sides for the shelf and tray brackets. Place the brackets on either side of the fridge and snap them into the holes. Slide the shelf and tray into the brackets.

    • 4). Place the fridge where you want it. If it has an ice maker, it needs to be near a refrigerator water line. Screw the mini fridge water line to the house water line and tighten down with a wrench to prevent leaks. If there is no ice maker, you can place it wherever you want.

    • 5). Clean the inside of the mini fridge with soapy water and rinse with a clean wet rag.

    • 6). Set the fridge on a hard surface at least 2 or 3 inches from a wall to allow heat to vent away from the unit.

    • 7). Plug the mini fridge in and turn the cooling temperature gauge to the recommended setting for the unit. It should be listed in the manual. Wait for several hours before you fill it with items.
