How Do I Get My iPod Out of the Chinese Language?

    Restore iPod to Factory Settings

    • 1). Click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of your Windows PC, and click "All Programs," "Apple" and "iTunes" to run the program. For Macs, double-click the "iTunes" icon on your screen's dock.

    • 2). Plug the USB or FireWire cable into the bottom of your iPod, and plug the other end of the cable into your computer's USB or FireWire port.

    • 3). Click the iPod tab in the iTunes sidebar, and click the "Summary" tab in the main iTunes window.

    • 4). Click the "Restore" button, and select "Restore" from the dialog box.

    • 5). Glide your finger over the click wheel clockwise to scroll through the language settings, and click the center button to select your preferred language.

    Change Language Settings

    • 1). Press the Menu button two to three times to access the main menu, and slide your finger clockwise on the click wheel until you reach the last tab that has an arrow to the far right of it.

    • 2). Click the center button to select the tab, and scroll down to the third to last selection in the list. Click the center button to select the tab.

    • 3). Slide your finger over the click wheel to scroll through the available languages and click the center button to select the language. Press the Menu button twice to return to the home screen.
