Is Arise a Scam or a Legit Work-at-Home Call Center?
Arise Virtual Solutions is a work-at-home call center company that inspires strong opinions both for and against it.
You won't find this company on my list of work at home companies because I do not recommend it to my readers (though I have no personal experience working with Arise). Some of its business practices--namely expecting its call center agents to repeatedly pay for training--are something I advise people to avoid in my articles about work-at-home scams.
I say that, as a rule of thumb, in order to avoid scams: remember that jobs pay you; you don't pay for jobs.
I have a list of virtual call center companies, none of which involve anywhere near the level of investment that Arise requires of its agents. And so I believe there are much less risky options out there for home call center agents than Arise Virtual Solutions.
Although I get a fair amount of negative opinions about Arise Virtual Solutions, there are always some who are happy with Arise. If you have worked for Arise, share your story.
