Male Genital Warts and the Overview

However, it is a known fact that male genital warts can be serious issue too.

In most cases, genital warts in men do not show any symptoms but after several weeks or months of contracting infection, warts start appearing on the skin.

Any person experiencing itching or burning sensation around genital area should seek immediate help.
Male warts have been linked to penile and anal cancers too.
Men with weak immune system, specially chain smokers and excessively alcoholic have higher risk of not only contracting this virus, but also in the process of healing.
Gay and bisexual men are 17 times more prone to this virus, as compared to heterosexual men.
This is one of the reasons, why US alone registers 1 million cases of male warts every year.
Men experiencing symptoms of genital warts should openly disclose this fact to their sexual partners.
This would curb further spread of this infection to a healthy partner.
Vaccines available in the market promise to reduce risk of being infected by this infection but do not guarantee complete immunity.
By taking early precautions, male genital warts can be easily healed with simple applications of cream or lotions available in the medical stores along with prescribed oral medicines.
On the other hand, if the warts are allowed to grow in large numbers, it not only creates severe complications but also involves painful methods to get rid of warts.
