Picture Problems
- Picture problems with the JVC DR-MV99 can include a failure to provide picture, abnormal picture, poor quality picture during playback and distorted picture when using an external component. Potential remedies for a lack of picture or abnormal picture include changing the video input mode on your TV, securely connecting the video cable between the DR-MV99 and your TV, and ensuring your TV is compatible with the picture resolution you are trying to record. For poor-quality picture during playback, remedies can include cleaning the DVD disc in the DVD deck, cleaning the video heads of the VCR deck, adjusting the tuning of your TV's channels and adjusting the VCR deck's manual tracking. To remedy a distorted picture when using an external component, connect the component to your TV as opposed to connecting it directly to the DR-MV99.
