- 1). Download and install iTunes by going to Apple.com/itunes/download.
- 2). Launch iTunes after it finishes installing.
- 3). Connect the iPod to the computer with the supplied USB cord.
- 4). Click "File" in the iTunes toolbar. Click "Add File to Library." A new window opens for you to browse for and locate the music to add. Click on the song to transfer, then click "Open." The song now appears under the Music heading in iTunes.
- 5). Click on the iPod under the Devices heading in the left pane of iTunes. Under the "Music" tab, choose to sync all songs or just certain playlists.
- 6). Click "File" in the iTunes toolbar, then "Sync iPod." Wait for the songs to be added to the iPod. Unplug the USB cord from the computer and iPod when the "OK to Disconnect" message appears on the iPod screen.
