How to Pick Concord Grapes
- 1). Inspect the grape vines once the color of the grapes deepens to a dark purple.
- 2). Feel the grapes, gently squeezing them in your hand. The grapes will feel less firm as they ripen.
- 3). Pick 2 or 3 grapes off the vine, and taste the grapes. If the grapes taste sweet and juicy, they are ready to harvest.
- 4). Pinch the clusters of Concord grapes off the vine. Place the grapes in a basket.
- 5). Wash the grapes with cool water to remove dirt and debris.
