How to Tether iPad to iPhone Without Jailbreak

    • 1). Acquire a tethering data package from your iPhone's network operator. This allows you to share a prerequisite amount of cellular data connectivity with additional devices.

    • 2). Launch the Settings application on the iPhone by tapping its icon on the home screen.

    • 3). Open the "Personal Hotspot" page and slide the "Personal Hotspot" switch to "ON." Press the "Wi-Fi Password" button and enter a password to secure the iPhone's wireless connection.

    • 4). Launch the Settings application on the iPad and open the "Wi-Fi" page. A list of nearby Wi-Fi networks will be displayed in the "Choose a Network" list, including the iPhone's Personal Hotspot.

    • 5). Tap the entry for your iPhone and enter the password. The iPad will connect to the iPhone as if it were any other wireless router, and the iPhone will begin sharing its cellular data connection.

    • 6). Slide the "Personal Hotspot" switch to "OFF" in the iPhone's Settings application to switch the Personal Hotspot feature off when you no longer want to share your Internet connection with the iPad.
