How to Play a DVD Player Through DIRECTV
- 1). Plug the wire that runs from the satellite through the wall into the RF (radio frequency) port labeled "Satellite In" on the back of the DIRECTV receiver.
- 2). Plug the red, white and yellow RCA cables into the same-colored RCA ports labeled "Composite Out" on the back of the receiver. Plug the other side of the RCA cable into the red, white and yellow RCA ports labeled "Composite In" on the back of the TV.
- 3). Plug the red, white and yellow RCA plugs of the other RCA cable into the RCA ports in the back of the DVD player. Plug the red, white and yellow plugs from the other side of the RCA cable into the RCA ports labeled "Composite In" on the back of the DIRECTV receiver.
