Hemorrhoid Pain and How to Cure It

Being in pain is awful, it leaves you unable to function properly or even think straight.
Your entire body seems to be consumed by pain and you feel drained and irritable.
When you have hemorrhoids you can be in excruciating pain due to the swelling and the location of these pleasant swollen veins.
Some people choose to take painkillers as a way to stop hemorrhoid pain, and whilst this works well so many people, it does not actually do anything to get rid of the hemorrhoids themselves.
They will still be there even when you are taking painkillers.
Another way to help to stop hemorrhoid pain is to use a topical cream, which is applied directly to the hemorrhoids.
Pain is then reduced as the cream contains an ingredient which will work to reduce the swelling of the hemorrhoid - as this is where the pain associated with this condition actually comes from.
Once the swelling has gone down many people find that their pain is drastically reduced and they are able to carry on with life as normal.
Repeated use of such creams can actually shrink the hemorrhoid and eventually it will be gone.
Ice packs are also another great way to stop hemorrhoid pain, which you must not use them for more than 30 minutes at a time.
Doing this the longer might actually cause you even more pain, so pay careful attention to how long you've held an ice pack against your hemorrhoids.
If you find that you get pain from your hemorrhoids when you're straining on the toilet you need to eat more fibre and drink more water as this will soften your stools.
Once they are softened you will be able to go to the toilet without straining and not feel any more pain from your hemorrhoids.
